the point of this game is to gather 5-star heroes and fuse them into stronger heroes. Obviously, you can get hero shards from the daily gatcha roll, but it's not the only way. There are many quest rewards, arena prizes, etc... The heroes are really the best part of the game. I personally like the darknight (green faction) most. The battle system is automated, but it rewards a variety of strategies. You can focus on just one faction, a few factions, or all of them at the same time.

Dying game trying to milk last money from whales. I like the game, I just don’t like the direction it goes. Every event gives less rewards and | or costs more resources than a month ago. They keep changing the rules so it is impossible to plan anything. A lot of players have already left the game, i used to be in the top 100, now I am in the top 10 and thinking about leaving too. Games usually give special rewards at Christmas time, but we got one of the worst events in the history of the game. You can still enjoy early game at new servers, you will like both the graphics and the mechanics. It will let you progress first couple of months, then the progress drops close to zero without donation. Don’t spend any money, the game may end very soon. I have been playing it for quite some time and can recommend only if you plan to stay for a long run, otherwise don't bother. It is also a game of careful planning as resources are very limited (unless you spend like a whale). If you know what you are doing even as f2p you can have fun in building and collecting your heroes. Just don't expect to be very competitive as heavy spenders will have you for dinner (the difference between f2p and p2p is huge). I take off one star for loading circle in any and all activities of the game, just out of nowhere, no matter what device I am using I get loading circle and freeze for a couple of seconds or more - very annoying.
