Amazing community thanks to which I discovered nice places and nice people ! -1 star until there is a way to filter out people who ask for mandatory hidden costs for cleaning or whatever excuse they find. Edit: -2 stars now that app-login is broken if you don't use a Chromium based default browser. The app just became unusable on my phone.

Thank you for your feedback and for highlighting the positive experiences you’ve had with our community. Cleaning fees must be clearly stated in the listing and agreed before an exchange is finalised, and separate charges for utilities are not permitted.

The app could be better. Not sure what mobile tech you use, but the app has a few weird bugs: - the data is not showing properly all the time. Sometimes the exchanges will show zero, sometimes the reviews won't render. - auth flow is broken. Why do I see the login screen before being redirected to the home screen? You already have a landing screen, just add a if/else condition. - when I navigate away from the app it just disappears from my recent apps. Never seen this bug in other apps.

We had a host cancel (very understandably) and Home Exchange was so quick to help us find a suitable alternative. This will be our third time and we couldn't love it more! it makes traveling possible for anyone on a tight budget or who simply enjoys the comfort of staying at someone's home. I especially love that you are caring for a stranger's home. It's very lovely.
