With apps like these, your mileage will vary. Personally, this app transformed my life. I'm now able to play my Steam games ANYWHERE through my phone/tablet and I have not experienced any connection problems (just minor lag spikes but that's to be expected). I stream through home WiFi (both pc and phone/tablet connected to the same 5ghz band) and occasionally through 5G mobile data. It's amazing. My advice is to try the app with your current network to see whether it is viable. 5 stars

really cool app that I would love to use more often. The 2 biggest issues I have with it currently are: 1. Quality of the stream isn't always where it needs to be for an enjoyable game session. this is despite me using the official Steam Deck to stream from, having very fast Internet, and a very new computer to stream the content on (I bought the Android device last year). 2. Why is this a separate app rather than a feature in the main Steam app?

Can't do anything, totally useless and it's not only cause of lag. Inputs never register, can't select a game and instead of making this locally which would be like 5 to 10 times faster, it has to go through steam servers for no reason. Also abandoned and probably not secure since a mitm attack can get full pc access. Just like their remote play feature which gave strangers full pc access
